Under the auspices of the Bootsy Collins Foundation, a non-profit organization, King Records Revival is raising funds and awareness for the restoration of the King Records building in the Evanston community of Cincinnati through sales of the For the Love of King music series and King merchandise.

All money raised via these efforts will go toward the restoration of the King Records building in the Evanston community, an effort orchestrated by the Cincinnati KING Legacy Committee (see Mayor Cranley’s Proclamation below).
The faces of king
King Records was founded in 1943 by Syd Nathan in Cincinnati, Ohio. King initially specialized in country music, but branched out into other genres over time.
The Revival Project
Below is a collection of concept art and blueprints imagined by students in DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. Each project explores various elements of the King Records legacy and proposes designs for a new space in the old studio building.
